Lili is a California landscape architecture studio creating gardens and landscapes shaped by nature, architecture and human experience. We believe thoughtful design can deepen our relationship with the natural world and make everyday life a little more wonderful.

Every place already contains the beginning of its design. The land. The climate. The light. The water. What grows there. What has happened there. And the people who will call it their own.
Our work begins by listening.

We believe wonderful places are rarely made alone. Lili brings together landscape architects, architects, horticulturists, ecologists, artists, engineers, craftspeople and builders around the particular possibilities of each place.
Design for what comes next.
A landscape is not complete when construction ends. It is beginning. We design for growth, adaptation and change, working with climate, water, soil, habitat and plant communities to create landscapes capable of becoming richer with time.
